Heat Pumps in Medford and Surrounding Communities

Medford, Somerville, Malden, Arlington, Winchester, Stoneham, Woburn and more, all coordinated from the same office.

HVAC Financing Medford plans and installs heat pumps in Medford and the communities around it. The housing is varied: capes and colonials in West Medford, two-families near Medford Square, triple-deckers in Somerville and Everett, and larger older homes in Winchester and Arlington. Many still run on gas or oil with radiators and no ductwork. Each project gets the same process, with the budget set first and the program paperwork handled by our office.

Older housing, practical designs

Radiator and baseboard homes are the norm here. Ductless and compact ducted systems fit them without major construction.

Programs vary by utility

Most nearby communities use Mass Save. Belmont is served by Belmont Light, which has its own heat pump rebate.

What Changes by Community

The installation process does not change by address. Every home receives a site visit, a heat-loss calculation, qualifying equipment, an itemized proposal and a walkthrough at closeout. A homeowner in Arlington and one in Malden receive the same documents and the same level of coordination.

What changes is the incentive picture. Homes on Mass Save utilities can pursue the Mass Save heat pump rebate and the 0% HEAT Loan. Belmont homes buy electricity from Belmont Light, a municipal light plant with its own heat pump rebate program, and the HEAT Loan may still apply there when the gas account is with National Grid or Eversource. We confirm which programs fit your address before building the budget.
